vacation.

Wow, finally after almost two months another blog from me...that's what you get when you leave for vacation and are gone for 5 weeks....
And oh boy, it was some vacation, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. We went to the USA for 5 weeks, visiting family. The first two weeks we spent in a small town in Michigan. During that time we met up with a lot of family, I went to Frankenmuth with one of my best friends, Kimberly. We had a blast..especially considering we had never met in real life before this trip. Of course we were the standard tourists, who needed to take pictures of all the boards where you put your face through, it was just hilarious. And that while I usually really hate these kinds of things, I am the kind of person who likes to blend in, I never want to be the TOURIST.
We had a huge pizza dinner at night as well, I love pizza....
The boyfriend took me to Holland, MI. Now that was interesting, even though the best part was the beach...I swam in Lake Michigan for the first time, now that was pretty darn cool, since I had never been there before. We also went kajakking...which was a lovely idea as well...I love doing the outdoorsy stuff. Oh and while staying at the fams...we found out that they had a new bunny int he backyard, a tame one, that we think fled his/her old home.
The second half of our vacation we spent in NM. The State I got my degree at. And to be honest I didn't really do all that much, just hang out, swim in the pool. Meet up with my good friends Jill and Chris.I have to be honest I missed them, so it was really great spending some good quality time with them. Ofcourse we got to spent lots of quality time with the Fam as well. They are amazing people. We met all the new dogs of the family. One of them looks really mean, but she is so cute and sweet. The other was a tiny doggie with lots of love to give...you had to keep petting her. All in all it was really great, I love the dessert, it is warm and dry and maybe even hot for time to time. And they have a Hobby Lobby and a Michaels and a JOANNs not entirely unimportant for me, LOL. I love craftstores, but that is nothing new...

On to another school year. It will be an interesting one....

  1. SO glad you had fun. I would love to see Holland, MI some day. Now that Heidi will be going to school down there, I'll be spending a few weekends in that area. I missed you while you were gone, and I'm glad you are "back". Hope work doesn't make you too crazy. Love you!
