Promise of a quilt

I think at the beginning of this year I promised the finished picture of a quilt I was making at the time for my cousin and his baby back then to be born.
Obviously the baby has been with us for a while now, and I figured it was time to finally show you what the finished product looks like.... so here we go!

I loved how this first completed project turned out. And I can tell you the little baby, and his sister love it as well. He has been sleeping on it all through the summer.

Now I am on to my second baby blanket, for another cousin who's wife is due this coming thursday. Obviously I started to late, but I have gotten quite far already. Once I have given them their present I will post pictures of all the steps taken.
