Christmas letters and such.....

As I noted for my friend Chris, Christmas letters is what I have been thinking about yesterday when writing the opening blog.... Now really what is a Christmas letter? It is absolutely the weirdest thing people write and want their friends and family to know! It is all positive and loving and well all the writers note that if something happened during the year that was negative they were able to turn it into something positive. They all write about how great their kids have behaved the whole year ( yeah right, as if your kid is the best one ever all the time, they do misbehave stop trying to hide it!!!!) They all write how perfect their relationships are, where as two months after you have received the letter they break up / get divorced or decide to do the living apart together thing because they "need more space". And then ofcourse they all discuss their financial status in some way or another.....Just by saying the job is going great... already means I am making lots of money how about you?

Well and all that stuff will make you want to write a christmas letter telling everybody else to get a life!!! SO that is exactly what Chris and I did a couple of years ago, and it was fun... we had a couple of drinks and wrote the most amazing letter ever, it was so cynical it was amazing nobody ever commented on it. I did end up sending it to some of my friends, just to have them share in "our bliss" (read our alcohol bliss).

But as of this morning I have decided to write one this year and just post it on this blog... obviously you will still have to wait a while, since well we just barely entered September here... but I will have enough to talk about... or at least I hope, and well I can always use my imagination and concord up some kids and 25 million euros. That my friends will be one awesome letter to read!

WELL PEOPLE JUST 110 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS AND YES WE WILL BE COUNTING DOWN!
