Events of the day!

Well ok, so today/tonight I started this blog. And right from the get go I want to share this story with you about my own stupidity and work.... Here it goes.

I had this class today and these kids are fresh out of elementary school, first year in high school ( yes for my American friends our school system here is a lot different then it is over there!).
And I had them throwing a softball ball back and forth! And at one point this kid was complaining yet again and not doing anything. So I told her to stop whining and get a move on. She started being rude to me, so I told her that it is really rude to talk to me in that way, and that I was sure she didn't talk to her mom in that way either! She just started crying and getting upset, so I asked her what that was all about and she was like I don't have a mom.... apparently her mom died several years ago... OEPS! i guessed I missed that during the meeting, if they ever mentioned it at all.

And well last week on the first day of class, I was in a hurry after a class that I taught at the gym, so I told they to move along.... I locked the gym and the gate to it, rushed to school, to get ready to pick up another class for a different location, when a colleague came cycling past and told me there was still a girl behind the gate at the gym.... YES PEOPLE I FORGOT ONE! IT HAPPENS TO THE BEST OF US! ( but it is really funny when you think about it!)

And that all in a days work!
