Ode to my friend Kimberly!
I think she is just the most amazing person, she is so strong when really things never came easy to her. She takes everything in her stride, and she is still going strong.
Here she is, with her partner of 11 years living across the world from her, because they both wanted what was best for their kids! Dealing with all these things that a person really should have to deal with by themselves. And let me tell you she raised on heck of a daughter!
She is so driven when it comes to work, but also outside of work! Which is definately noteworthy. She decided to go back to college to follow one class per semester, because she also had a fulltime job!
When I came to Michigan she drove all the way down to just come hang out with me! She sent me a carepackage for my birthday with all the goodies I love, even though it is soo expensive to send it half across the world.
She takes care of everybody around her, she cares! She listens when you need her to listen! She is just in one word awesome! And her dedication is just awesome! I am so lucky to have you as my friend! You make me laugh when I need it. All I can hope is that I do the same for you!

Kimmy Kimmy Kimmy..... you had me in tears until the very last sentence where you totally made me laugh. You are my best girlfriend, which sucks because you too are really far away living in the land of the blonde people. Thank you for such nice words, but there are days when I just feel so tired and sad and sick of it all.. then you, Vern, or Heidi show me how lucky I truly am. Thanks for being you and thanks for being my friend. I miss you tons.
