2011 has been a year of extremes for me. Many life altering things have happend during 2011. I have seen and felt so much love, happiness, and sorrow this past year. I have seen things around me that have made me realise that I need to start enjoying my life more instead of just letting it pass me by.
This is why I have decided 2012 will be my year. I am going to do things just for me and not for everybody else.... and so I signed up for a quilting class. Yes people a quilting class. Lately I have been enjoying sewing little pieces of fabric together by hand, but I definately lack the knw how to actually make it into a real quilt; a family heirloom. So with this class I hope to get a better grip on everything else besides piecing the top part of a quilt together. Of course my class won't start until late february, so I have to keep myself busy with other things.... like making a quilt-top for a babyblanket for a cousin of mine who is expecting. I will take a picture later to show you what it looks like. 2012 here we come!!!
